Recently I posted about some picks of the Etude House Dreaming Swan Collection (>>shop here<<). A collection in cooperation with the illustrator Kerrie Hess, who illustrated already for Chanel, Lois Vuitton and other famous brands. I totally love this collection of Etude House. The reason why I love it is really simple: I totally love the packaging and the beautiful look of the products. They are so stunning, sweet and classy.
I already reviewed the cushion-case and Etude House Any Cushion (>>click here<<) and the Eyes&Cheek Powder (>>click here<<) from the collection and I have to confess: I still love them. They are so adorable and good looking and they’re doing a great effect. I would recommend these products to anyone if you just want to have products with great effects or also if you’re are searching for lovely, cute and special packaging.
In addition to the Cushion Case & the Eyes&Cheek Powder I bought the Dear My Blooming Lips-Talk in the shade PK023, which is a strong pink shade.
The lipstick comes in a packaging with da ballerina on it who tightens her ballet-shoes and is wearing a beautiful tutu. It’s an eye catcher and a must-have for everyone loving girly packaging in pastels with beautiful themes on it. I totally love the theme of the ballerina. It fits perfectly to every kind of beauty product. The lipstick itself is in a feminine light coral case. If you open the lipstick case you can take of the white ring with a ribbon and use it as fashion ring. A really sweet idea of Etude House. The ring is a light shining pearl-white shade looking very beautiful and feminine.
The lipstick itself is described as chiffon lipstick with a silky texture gliding onto your lips with a powdery and smooth finish. The usage is simple: First you can draw the outer lip line with a lip liner. Afterwards apply the lipstick inside and if you want to create more charming lips by gradating colour onto the center of lips. So far this sounds like every normal lipstick to use.
After using the lipstick I really love the colour. It’s an intense pink with a slightly touch of coral in it. It’s a great colour for summer days and very strong. The finish is powdery, but this means, that the colour sticks a little bit in your lip lines. You really need to have moisture lips before, so that the colour doesn’t last in the lines and looks better. Or you have to distribute the colour more often by pressing your lips onto each other. The colour isn’t very long lasting, I would call it normal. If you drink and eat too much you have to apply a new layer of the lipstick again. If you put a balm or something hydrating on your lips to avoid the lip lines the colour lasts even shorter, like every moistening lipstick.
All in all I’m really obsessed with the packaging and the look of the lipstick and I think it looks special, classy, elegant and beautiful. Unfortunately the case of the lipstick hasn’t a theme on it, so that you don’t see that the lipstick is from this incredible beautiful collection. The price of 13 $ is too expensive for the effect of the lipstick, All though I love the colour of the lipstick and the colour looks very amazing and unique.
