A couple of weeks ago, I was asked to review a skincare product from IASO. I didn’t know this Korean brand before, but I couldn’t resist to agree to that opportunity. I always made very positive experiences with Korean skincare product, but also with beauty products and I probably know why they always look beautiful and young :D How couldn’t they while using this huge variety of good skincare products?!
IASO states: “IASO is a prestige brand designed to address your sophisticated and proactive skincare needs based on the research and expertise of leading dermatologists.” While having lots of years experience. This sounds so promising I got really excited when my package with the IASO AC Booster arrived.
The IASO AC Booster is a product removing blemishes (oh yeah, everyone wants them to be anywhere else but on their own skin :D), acne, spots and your white- and blackheads for OILY and COMBINATION skin. At the moment my skin is a combination skin, I think this summer stressed my skin a little bit, but I’m sure this will change some day again – or I hope so :D
The serum comes in a very plain box containing the bottle of the serum. The bottle has several information stated on it, some Korean on the backside, which I don’t understand (I know I should learn Korean some day :D) and the name on the front of the bottle with the information about AC clearing ingredients (AHA&BHA(for soft and gentle exfoliation), Tea Tree Oil (killing bacteria causing blemishes/acne), Centella Asiatica (skin healing)). Other ingredients are Kava Extract(Conditioning) and Aloe Vera (Soothing &Moisturizing).
The usage is really easy thanks to the dropper coming with the bottle. With this you can put the desired amount of drops on your hand to apply to your area of concern. IASO recommends to use a cream afterwards. The serum is very lightweight and very fluid. Immediately you’re smelling a slight smell of (I think) green tea and medicine.
At first you’re feeling a slightly prickling feeling on the concerned areas, but nothing which feels bad on the skin, rather you seem to feel how the serum is working :D Perhaps I’m the only one thinking like that, but I had that feeling in a jiffy :D After trying the serum out for 1-2 weeks, I’m noticing a difference with the blackheads, and I the small blemishes seem to disappear faster, without doing something else. The skin feels even and is looking more healthier, not dull and while sweeping over the skin you’re feeling a difference.
Would I recommend it? YES, YES, YES! I’m so satisfied with this problem. I don’t know how it works out with acne, but for usual blemishes and blackheads and your skin liveliness it totally works out. (but remember they recommend it only for oily and combination skin!). I would love to test some more products of them, too, because this product turned out to do right what I expected. Although I’m not a friend of natural smells and I’m influenced really easily by scent, I would definitely buy it again when needing something for my blemishes. I’m really curious about their other products after trying this out, too:) And now before summing up my expierences the best of all:
