The Beauty Tag

I was tagged again :D This time – for the Beauty Lover Tag –  by my sister Laven from Berries in The Snow. Thank you so much, for tagging me my lovely and cute sis :)

For everyone loving Korean cosmetics or wanting to know more about it: You should head over to her blog and read her reviews.

1. If you could have anyone in the world do your makeup, who would it be?

This one is really difficult. I never had my makeup done by a professional makeup artist or some one famous in the beauty world, but I think it would definitely e someone creative like Pony Make Up or Michelle Phan.

2. What’s your top makeup tip?

I swear on translucent powder, which reduces pores, like for example the Prep&Prime from MAC or the Porefessional of Benefit. And I’m a huge concealer fan. Nothing can make you look more awaken (even if you have to get up at 5 o`clock like me sometimes) and hide imperfections so good like a good concealer. Surprisingly my fav isn’t a very expensive one, but one from Catrice, a drugstore brand, but I swear on it :)

3. What one makeup item could you not live without?

This one is probably the most difficult. I always apply foundation and I wouldn’t go out without it, not even just for getting some buns or just going out to drive with the car to my parents :D Okay, that’s sounds a bit freaky, but yes, I always apply foundation (but only because my skin isn’t really flawless). Except for that I just love eyeliner, mascara and lipstick, the quickest way to be ready to go out, even in the evenings and if you haven’t much time to get ready :D

4. What one skincare item could you not live without?

Sheet masks – they are so useful and so easy to use, without soil everything around me. In addition it feels sooo good to apply a sheet mask and just relax a little bit and some of them really look so funny :D

5. What are you worst at when it comes to applying makeup?

Oh my brows….I never had a huge need to make my brows perfect, since they are dark and I never took them off completely. Nevertheless I have to learn how to get those perfect “Benefit” brows :D

6. What’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to beauty?

I think that no-brow trend. There was a time everyone seamed to make their eye brows smaller and smaller and smaller and sometimes even not visible anymore :D I never understood that. Okay small eyebrows is one thing, but no brows? I don’t know, perhaps it reminds me of spooky clowns or how they would look without makeup :D haha

7. What’s your favorite makeup era?

There I have something in common with my sister: I love the 1940’s and 1950’s pin up makeup. I always wanted to have such a wonderful pale skin to create the “perfect” pin up makeup like Dita von Teese and in the past I hated it when my skin got tanned in summer. Now I learned to deal with that :D I’m a huge fan of the whole age considering beauty, fashion and hairstyles, so impressive, always elegant, feminine and always classy on point.

8. What’s your guilty pleasure product?

Oh I have a lot :D I think it’s a mixture of guilty pleasure and must have :D I think the Urban Decay Smoky palette is one of that products and I would never miss it again, although I think it’s pretty expensive for eyeshadow. BUT I would always rebuy it, too :D haha
Of course my MAC, Chanel and Urban Decay lipsticks are also very pricy, but still I’m obsessed by them, and although I often try out other lipstick and I’m satisfied with them too, I would never miss to buy that high end products with that amazing formula :D It’s a kind of hating and loving the product at the same time :D Loving how it works on you and hating the price and the knowledge you can’t buy every shade :D

9. What’s your underdog product?

Definitely the Catrice liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer. The formula is amazing and it convers very good while you can also use it for contouring your face and emphasizing your nose, under your eyes and the areas to highlight later. Furthermore it can be distributed very easily.

10. What’s your favorite makeup product of 2015?

I have a lot of favorites in 2015. But one of my daily uses is the Urban Decay Smoky Palette, I use it every day when applying eyeshadow and of course the Etude House Dreaming Swan(I reviewed it >>here<<). The packaging was so cute and I almost didn’t want to touch it (but I did v_v).

And now it’s time to tag someone:

I tag the beautiful Pam from Pam Scalfi, she has such an amazing beauty and fashion blog and her reviews always help me to decide.

Secondly I would love to see Anne’s answers from Linda Libra Loca. I’m a huge fan of her beautiful and informative blog and the products she shows, especially in her videos.

Last but not least I hope I can read Shireen’s answers too. Her wonderful blog Reflection Of Sanity is so beautiful and reviews so many amazing products in a wonderful detailed way. It’s always fun to rad her reviews.

I hope you all had fun with these questions and my answers :) Wishing you all an amazing day so far and enjoy the (hopefully sunny) week.
