Obsessed With Maxi-Dresses

This year the weather is really not summer-like in Germany. We have some sunny days, or not rainy days, but mostly the temperatures are just around the 20 degrees. Yep, that’s not really summer like. And yep, most of my summer clothes were still not worn this year. So what to do on  “middle” warm or a little bit colder summer days? I think one of the easiest ways to create a summer look even for the colder summer days or the mornings is to wear maxi dresses.

They look feminine, elegant, summer-ready but still they cover your legs, so that you don’t have to wear tights but you don’t freeze if the clouds cover the sun or if it’s slightly windy.  In addition maxi dresses look very flattering and chic, but can be casual and cool too, depending on fabric, style and print.

This one from SheIn is a wonderful maxi dress with a cute blue- white – brown print, reminding me of the boho trend and beach festivals. I love the color combination, although I barely wear blue (except for denim) I think the colors match perfectly together, to create the perfect summer dress.

With the slit at the sleeves, the dress gets a slightly cold shoulder touch, which looks a little bit sassy, yet elegant and girly. The slits at the skirt of the dress give the whole dress a unique and a little bit extraordinary touch, which looks exciting.

Combining the dress with a simple and classy black clutch and summer sandals you can create an easy street chic look, which can be worn during the day or even in the evenings where you can combine heeled shoes if you prefer.

Thank you so much for stopping by my lovely friends <3 I hope you all had a wonderful day so far and feel free to post your thoughts or tips for those summer days :D Happy Thursday!
