Review: D’RAN Wonder Serum

A while ago I got this serum in my Mishibox (>>click here for unboxing<<) and I promised you to write a review. Now 3 month later and after using it for about a month now, I wanted to tell you what I think about it.

What it Claims?

Twenty carefully selected herbal extracts help to moisturize your skin, smooth wrinkles and brighten the skin tone. Especially the ingredient list with Hyaluronic Acid, Niacinamide and EGF sound amazing for those promises, too.

Packaging

The bottle itself is of a milky glass, doesn’t look special or cute, it’s a plain bottle, with the wine red label on it coming with a plastic pump and protection cap. Of course I lost the cap after a while, like every time I have products with caps :D

Usage

The usage is typical for a plump bottle. The easiest way to avoid messing around and wasting a little bit of the serum, is to hold the bottle slightly horizontal and pumping 2-3 times until you have the desired amount on your hand to distribute it in your face.

Effect

While distributing the serum on the skin, it feels at first slightly sticky at first and the serum itself seams to be slightly viscous. After a little bit of time the serum absorbs into the skin but still feels a little bit sticky. It has a very good moisturizing effect and I think it worked good with my small wrinkles, but since I don’t have many wrinkles, I can’t tell you something in that point for sure. My skin felt smooth and soft and it worked out very good with my other products of my daily skincare (although I have a mixture of many different prices, products and brands I use here, since I love trying out new products).

Disadvantage

The serum has a herbal scent, which is a scent I really don’t like. It smells like a lot of different herbals, and for me the scent is strong, not just a slight scent. Btu of course this is a personal opinion of me. Secondly I didn’t notice a brightening effect after all, although I use this product for a while now. In my opinion tzhe price is with almost 15$ (for 30ml) is quite high for a serum with just hydration benefits .

Wonderserum? For me not a wonder – but a wonderful hydrating serum. It makes my skin feel very soft, smooth and cared, even during my travels in Croatia my skin wasn’t feeling dry, although the weather was very hot making my skin drier than usual. If you’re searching for a wonderful moisturizing product, this is a good choice.
