ETUDE HOUSE Play 101 Stick Contour Duo: Review & Quick Tutorial

This months Pinkbox got some amazing products in it (like the Moistfull collagen Cream with Dumbo on it, which I showed you in my last post >>here<<) and I was so excited to try them all out and showing you all of them. One of the products is the ETUDE HOUSE Play 101 Stick Contour Duo in shade 2, a creamy twist-up crayon with a highlighting side and a contouring side of the stick.

Packaging

The packaging of the stick is slightly elegant, like the stick itself: a black middle part, at the one side a light fawn and a darker browner shade at the other side of the packaging. The letters “PLAY 101 STICK” are looking a little bit playful with that curved way to write them down.

Usage

Apply the highlighting color on T-zone, cheekbones and the shade color on sides of nose and below the jaw line. You can highlight an contour every part of your face , like you want and create a lot of different natural and bold makeup looks.

Effect

The stick is very creamy and blending very easily with brushes or a sponge on the skin, the formula dries out a little bit and looks powdery, while the skin is looking natural and flawless. You can change the effect for a more natural or bolder makeup while using more or less of the contour cream. For a natural look you just need to apply one line to emphasize your face lines.

All in all I used the ETUDE HOUSE Play 101 Stick already several times since I got the package and I’m so satisfied with it, and it works out with my office makeup perfectly while blending out flawless on the skin. The usage is very easy and you could even blend it out with your fingers, which makes it perfect to take it with you while going out.

Of course I thought you want to see how to use this one and I made a “quick tutorial” with an easy , natural contouring and makeup for everyday :)I hope you stop by on Youtube to watch it and give it a like :)
